The Monthly Day of Prayer is an opportunity to take time out of our busy and hectic lives to focus on God and devote time to prayer and reconciliation. The Monthly Day of Prayer is led by an OLPH priest in a group format on the second Sunday and second Wednesday of each month from September to May. The cost is $45.00 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

October 2024: The Saving Stream That Leads to our True Native Land CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER The Eucharist is the true native land of heaven in Jesus Christ, and our bodies will also be transformed to participate in this new homeland. Fr. Greg Cleveland, OMV will explore this theme in the morning conference. In the afternoon conference, he will speak of God’s love as a consuming fire and an overflowing torrent of love made possible by Jesus’ death and flowing blood. In the Eucharist, we are immersed in and nourished by this saving stream of His blood.
November 2024: How (not) to Lead Your Family and Friends Back to the Faith On this Monthly Day of Prayer, Fr. Mark Yavarone, OMV will discuss winning and losing strategies for pointing a young or older adult back to the fullness of the Catholic Faith. Brandon Vogt's excellent book Return: How to Draw Your Child Back to the Church will be the major source for the conferences, although the principles he discusses are applicable to other adults as well.
December 2024: Getting Ready: Invitation and Preparation for the Mass as an Epiphany of Grace. On this Day of Prayer, Fr. Greg Cleveland, OMV will help us to anticipate and prepare for the miracle of the Lord’s Passion, Death and Resurrection experienced through the Mass.
