Directed by Fr. Mark Yavarone, OMV or Fr. Shawn Monahan, OMV, our Ignatian Preached Retreats are silent retreats that introduce the retreatants to the great themes of the Spiritual Exercises in a group setting.
The schedule includes conferences each day, daily Mass, and an opportunity to meet at least once with the retreat director for Confession and/or spiritual direction. The conference topics center on Ignatian spirituality, prayer, and discernment.
Throughout the day there are periods of private prayer in which the retreatants may bring into their own spiritual lives the elements discussed within the conferences. Scripture passages are provided for personal prayer and meditation.
For dates of upcoming Ignatian Preached Retreats in English or Spanish, see our Schedule of Events. The retreat begins with check-in between 2 pm and 4 pm on the first day and ends after lunch on the fourth day. All meals are provided. All rooms are single occupancy with a full-size bed and private bathroom and shower.
